Easy approach and good depth at the dock. We logged 8m at the middle dock. Plenty of space to maneuver, it is marked on the docks where you should moor alongside and with stern mooring. The outer floating docks are made of concrete and also function as wave dampeners for the express boats that have a quay nearby. Little movement when moored at the innermost docks.
Power and water at the docks are included in the harbor fee and there are plenty of outlets.
Great service building with toilet, shower, washing machines, and dryers, as well as a common room with a "library" where you can take a book if desired. There are also informational booklets with tourist info there.
Shower and washing/drying are included in the harbor fee. Good cleanliness and maintenance.
Nice town center with several restaurants and shops. A store with a good selection of boat equipment is located about 100m from the guest harbor, right by Elkjøp.
Generally little noise considering the proximity to the town center and the express boat quay.

Large heavy concrete docks, so if you find a spot on the inside, the ferries are not an issue.
Noise from generators mentioned in previous posts is gone. Nice and clean service building, with a 'library' to exchange or take books. Short distance to most things.

Had to move the boat three times as there was no power at all outlets. As usual, a hellish racket from the express boats. Only all the way in to the hotel there is power.

Entry is clearly marked and wide. There's plenty of space to go and have a look before deciding where to moor. No generator noise mentioned on previous reviews. Some rolling from the ferries and fishing boats, but fine if not on the outer wall. The most sheltered place is the finger berths.
There is a bar on the quay, but no problems sleeping (I was here on a Saturday).
Plenty of depth, even the finger berths had a 44ft sailboat on when I was there.
There's a chandlery about 100m away (Best Marin) that has most boat supplies. Washing machines and tumble driers are free. Showers are good.

No generator noise as of June 2025. Fast chargers for express boats have been installed, including 2 fast chargers for leisure boats.

A hellish noise from the commercial boats and their generators. Stay somewhere else.

A great guest harbor has been sacrificed on the altar of environmental fanatics. Diesel generators charge eco-friendly express boats around the clock. Terrible noise that propagates as vibrations in the aft deck. Regret paying for two days. It's not livable for normal people here. Quieter in the middle of Bergen city center. Hope they find a quick solution to this, because the harbor is initially first-class.

Space for particular enthusiasts.
A hell of a racket around the clock, primarily from the ferry traffic and generators, but also full parties on the pier and surrounding area until late at night.

Steer clear - if you want peace and quiet and a good night's sleep. The diesel generators create an infernal noise level. A great service facility - but unfortunately, the overwhelming impression is the strong noise. We couldn't manage more than one night.

Great harbour with its own harbour master. Accommodates boats up to 75 feet. However, as of the writing of this text (26.6.2024), most boats here are between 30 and 45 feet. The service building is nice and modern. Sheltered and safe harbour. Unfortunately, there is some noise (around 65 decibels) from the electric ferries being powered by diesel generators. These run most of the day. We have been informed this will continue until September 1. This detracts from the pleasant harbour experience one could have here.
