Approach and maritime conditions: Solsemvågen is located at the very south of Leka, and is a good harbor to anchor in. The approach is from the south and is uncomplicated. There is plenty of space for many boats to anchor here (at least 10).
Anchoring: Here you anchor with a depth of 5-10 meters. Sandy bottom with heavy sand and little seaweed/kelp/seagrass provides good holding (tested in 2018 and 2021).
The area: In Solsemvågen, there are a few piers and boathouses in use. Several fishing boats and small boats are moored (private). It is 2 km to the Stone Age cave "Solemshola". During the summer, you might be lucky to find a small café in one of the white houses on the grassy area.
