Excellent anchorage, perhaps the best in all the Faroe Islands.
Anchorage in 3 to 5 meters of depth, on a hard mud with good holding. 360° protection. Westerly winds, channeled by the terrain, tend to slightly strengthen, while southeasterly winds diminish. It is the perfect place to leave your boat for a sightseeing tour.
Connection via highway tunnel to the main other islands. Car rental agency at the port. International airport 7 km away. Bus stop nearby. Two supermarkets. Bank with ATM.
Self-service diesel dispenser on floating dock, with credit card payment.
Excellent hiking opportunities in the surrounding area.
