Arsuk est un joli petit port de pêche ouvert sur la mer. Même par temps calme ou par vent du nord, il y a toujours un résidu de houle qui rentre, et de la grosse glace y pénètre.
Mouillage par temps calme : À l'est du quai, le fond remonte rapidement. Il est préférable de mouiller devant celui-ci, par 20 mètres, sur un fond de vase et de roche. À l’ouest de la péninsule qui sépare le village de l’île, il y a 3 grosses bittes d’amarrage où l’on peut tirer des aussières à terre. Attention : par marée haute, elles sont recouvertes d’eau.
Pieux métalliques : À l'entrée du chenal entre l'île et le village, deux chaînes immergées à 4 mètres de profondeur protègent la zone des growlers. Des pieux métalliques ont été installés pour s'y amarrer à l'avant et à l'arrière du bateau, mais ils semblent aujourd'hui à l'abandon et on ne peut plus vraiment s’y fier. Attention : De nombreux cordages flottent en surface.
Quai : Par temps calme, il est possible de se mettre au quai, mais comme le port est ouvert à la houle, il est déconseillé d'y passer la nuit.
Carburant : Une station essence-diesel en self-service par carte Visa/Mastercard, ouverte 24h/24, est disponible dans le chenal entre l'île et le village. Le ponton flottant a été enlevé, il n'est donc plus possible d'y accoster avec son voilier. À marée haute, il est possible de bidonner avec son annexe.
Histoire : Le village en tant que tel existe depuis 1805. L’église luthérienne en bois a été construite en 1830.
