Good location and easy to approach this harbor. According to information in the harbor, there should be good service from May 1st. The code for harbor fees only worked on the handicap toilet. Other toilets/showers/cleaning rooms were not accessible with the code. Full harbor fee despite this. The harbor master was informed and was surprised by the information. Also talked to other boat owners on the dock who had the same experience. Very popular guest harbor with a superb location in relation to all attractions and services in Norway's oldest town. Very nice service building with excellent shower facilities and kiosk/cafeteria.

Simple approach both from the west and east. From the east, you need to wait for bridge openings at fixed times, see information on the website. There is a lot of traffic in the strait, which can cause some disturbing waves outside the breakwater. Mooring in boxes or alongside. Be aware of steep harbor fees if the boat is 41 feet or longer.
