Il molo di Tønsberg è un porto divertente e animato. Molto vivace nei fine settimana e non adatto alle famiglie con bambini. Ma per coloro che amano un po' di movimento, è molto bello avere un breve tragitto per raggiungere ristoranti di buona qualità, ballo e drink. Breve distanza in città per negozi e tutto ciò che si può desiderare (e non desiderare).

L'ormeggio non avviene più con l'uso dell'ancora. Si ormeggia presso uno dei 3 moli di cemento, oppure si ormeggia alle boe alte e blu. Le barche più grandi spesso necessitano di due di queste boe (> 50-55 piedi). Per rendere gli ormeggi abbastanza tesi, questi spesso devono essere ormeggiati a metà nave.

Si consiglia un uso abbondante di parabordi poiché c'è molto traffico di entrata/uscita dai moli in tutte le classi di competenza.
