The quay in Tønsberg is a fun and entertaining harbor. Very lively on weekends and not suitable for families with children. But for those who enjoy a bit of excitement, it is very nice with a short distance to restaurants of good quality, dancing, and drinks. A short walk to the city for shops and everything you need (and don't need).
Mooring no longer requires the use of an anchor. You dock at one of the 3 concrete quays or tie up to high, blue buoys. Larger boats often need two of these buoys (> 50-55 feet). To get the moorings tight enough, they often need to be tied midship.
We recommend overuse of fenders as there is a lot of in/out traffic from the quays in all classes of seamanship.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 2 hours and 1 minute ago (Friday 02 May 10:28 AM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
