Entrada e condições marítimas: Pequeno e abrigado Porto de Visitantes. Protegido do fiorde com um quebra-mar sólido.
Amarração: Amarração em cais flutuantes. Na parte interna há amarração de popa com braços de suporte. Na parte externa, prevalece a amarração lateral. Também é possível atracar nos cais flutuantes fora do quebra-mar, mas aí não estará protegido contra o fiorde.
Área: Valldal é um ótimo lugar à beira do fiorde. Muitas oportunidades de trilhas e algumas lojas e restaurantes no centro. Valldal é famosa pelos seus morangos, então é recomendado experimentá-los.
