A great place to visit for all ages.
Nice marked trails and a lot to see.
The fishing and trapping museum is located in the boathouse and is worth a visit.
The main house has an older section from bygone times that remains untouched and shows what life was like back then (1800s).
New nice docks with ample electricity and water.
But be aware! Boat traffic through the strait can sometimes create waves because they move too fast. The waves can easily create situations where, for example, fenders are thrown up onto the dock, and boats can be damaged (fiberglass against steel).

Sanitary building with shower and toilet.
Water and electricity on the dock.
Some private boat spots are marked with ''Guest Spot'' and can be used if the sign is there, otherwise, there is space for 2 boats at the dock.

Easy to navigate in, well marked with sea marks all the way.
Not so easy to find a guest spot as it is not marked on any dock. You need to contact the harbour master and be assigned a spot; you will be given an available ''slot'' that fits your boat's length/width. The price is not prohibitive and includes electricity, water, trash, and service building, washing machine and dryer (coin-operated 2x20kr), shower, and toilet. A quiet harbour in almost all kinds of weather, good docks and a nice service building, about 1 km to the center and shops.
The harbour is located just below Svolværgeita and there are many nice hikes
in the vicinity.
Diesel and gasoline can be filled at its own dock (Circle K) or at Minoil's dock nearby (Kløfterholmen).

The harbor is nice and you pay for your stay with the Gomarina app.
Good hiking areas, a golf course and Selje Monastery on the island of Selja just outside. The Sherpa steps to the mountain 'Tarvaldseggggja' are under construction and will make the 645-meter summit accessible for most people. A fantastic view.
There is now a large nice MIX kiosk right by the guest dock, the menu is extensive and I believe there is something good for everyone. There are chairs and tables so you can sit and enjoy a good meal indoors. Highly recommended.
Petrol and diesel are available at their own floating dock in the guest harbor.

Relatively much swell due to passing ferries, resulting in "a lot" of rocking.
Power supply at NOK 70,- only for charging.
One of the more expensive harbors in the region, but it's close to the center, which means a lot.
When cruise ships are docked, one should expect quite a bit of noise.

Guest pier in Brattvåg center.
Long concrete pier with many water posts and electrical connections. Good bollards for mooring.
Would assume that the pier is somewhat exposed to wind/waves from the North.
The piers belong to Brattvåg Small Boat Association and the daily rate is NOK 150, including water and electricity.
A good alternative if you want proximity to the center.

A convenient harbor in peaceful surroundings.
Nice service building with shower, WC, washing and drying facilities.
Tables and benches placed around the building, grills are also available.
Slipway with a cart if needed.
A nice 'lawn' with a football goal for those who want to play.
Space for 2 boats at the jetty on the pier, with good depth suitable for sailboats.
The floating dock along the shore is not of the best quality, somewhat worn and lies low in the water so make sure fenders hang low enough. There is also a metal rail on the edge of the dock so fenders are absolutely necessary.
Power and water on both docks.
There is also a parking area for motorhomes with power and water. And a septic discharge station behind the service building.

The pier is beautifully situated between Hjertøya and Furøya, easy to navigate to and has a good depth (2.5-3.0). One of the better anchorages in the area.
See picture of the mooring plan.
There are 4 buoys laid out so that you can moor to these with the bow and with the stern to the pier. This provides space for more boats.

Keep to port when entering (reef on the starboard side)
Approximately 0.8 to 1.8 meters at low tide, deepest near the rock where the eye hook is. We often lie there with our boat (Saga-385) and do not have problems with depth or mooring (anchor out back and rope from the bow to the eye hook on the rock)
You can also moor to a birch tree on the rock.
Nice for swimming.

A beautiful service building (Municipal) is located on the pier (facing the river)
Price for using the toilet is NOK 10, shower NOK 30, and wash/dry NOK 40. You pay by card.

There can be some current past the piers at times when there is a lot of water in the river that flows right by.

A nice harbor and fine piers (the decking on the guest pier was being upgraded). Easily accessible power and water, service building on land with shower, toilet, laundry, and drying facilities.
1.5 km to a store and a pier restaurant.
Nice hiking terrain for everyone.

A nice harbor with good docks, a service building with showers, toilets, washing and drying facilities. Clean and neat.
Benches/tables on platforms right above the docks.
The hike to Rødøyløven takes about 2 hours each way from the harbor, with 'Sherpa stairs' for most of the hike (at times somewhat steep).
The hike to the beach also takes about 2 hours each way, with some 'Sherpa stairs' on this path as well.

There is now a sauna installed at the end of the guest pier.
The hotel manages this and asks sailors not to block access so that the guests are not disturbed.

A decent harbour with somewhat worn docks and technical facilities.
Some of the docks lack fenders, so only steel edges are available to take the impact.
In May/June/July, the seagulls rule here; they nest on the turf roofs around the harbour. They dive at anyone trying to move outdoors, so be aware of this. Otherwise, they create a deafening racket 24/7, so those who prefer peace and quiet should find another harbour. The hotel has reasonably good food for those who wish to use it.
The sanitation building is clean and nice with a good standard (adjacent to the hotel).
A good starting point for hikes, both mountain hikes and less demanding ones.

Large good dock with many cleats, water on the dock by the gangway, and a pole with 2 outlets for electricity on land by the gangway.
If you want electricity, you must call and get a code to open a padlock that secures the outlets (kr 40,- for electricity)
It is best to stay on the inside as it can be exposed to swell/sea on the outside.
Hotel nearby and kiosk on the quay. About 2 km to grocery store (Spar Eidsnes)

Nice harbor, with new wooden deck on the floating docks. Larger boats (+35 feet) should moor at the innermost part of the dock due to some protrusions that get in the way further out. Depth at the innermost part is >8 meters.
Be aware that the harbor can sometimes be restless due to passing boats causing waves. Moor and fend well.
There are no bollards to moor to, but there are plenty of rope loops secured in a safe manner and at appropriate distances.
Electricity and water are available on land, so you need to rely on an extension cord (standard plug connection, 'Schuko').
Shower, WC, and laundry/drying facilities are located in the large yellow boat shed to the right of the gangway (around the corner on the upper side).
Payment with cash or Vipps. NOK 150.- + NOK 50.- for electricity. NOK 50.- for washing and drying.

A fantastic place that Flora hiking association has developed here.
Good docks and a nice platform on land, with a fish cleaning station, bench/table, and a fantastic cabin that is open to everyone.
This includes tables, chairs, a gas stove, and a gas grill (do not use disposable grills as they can leave unwanted marks). A fantastic place that all users should take care of.
All this is located in a stunning natural environment and is a great starting point for hikes around the island. The North Sea Trail goes around the entire island and is recommended, we walked from Domba to Kvanhovden lighthouse round trip, about 7.5 km. There are many midges in the area, so mosquito repellent is recommended.
This is an anchorage without facilities such as showers and toilets.

A nice place to arrive, with a fixed quay in front of the Dampen restaurant. The restaurant has good food and a pleasant atmosphere. A service building next to the restaurant with several showers and toilets, washing and drying facilities. A new concrete pier has been laid out this year, and for the next season, there will be pontoons, electricity, and water on it. Note! At the end of the floating pier, chains are 'lying' right at the water's surface, so keep your distance. Waves from boats passing in the fjord can cause a surprise in the form of strong 'rocking' (use slack lines). Another concrete pier is planned at the other end of the quay.
On land by the existing floating pier, a pump for diesel and 98 octane fuel will be installed. As of 01.08.2024, it is possible to fill up diesel from the fixed quay.
A local shop is located about 20 meters from the floating pier and is open until 23:30.

In a nice harbor, >20 meter concrete pier that you can moor alongside on both sides. Good with mooring fixtures (bollards), water, and good electrical outlets.
WC, shower, washing, and drying facilities are available in the basement of the local store. If the door is locked, contact the store or call the number posted on the door, and they will unlock it.
Trash can be deposited in any gray containers around the entire island (cabin waste collection)
There is a sign at the end of the small boat club's dock with information about the 'Guest Dock,' but according to locals, it is not approved for this use.
Near the school building, there is a playground and a ball cage.

No water, but we found a hose at the marina where one can fill up a can for coffee, etc.
At the fast boat dock, there is a white house (waiting room) that is open, where you can borrow books, buy pictures and T-shirts with motifs (puffin). Pay with Vipps.
The island has poorly marked paths.

Somewhat worn docks, but okay for one night.
There is usually reasonably priced diesel at this harbor, but be aware that it is shallow by the dock.
If you need diesel, you must wait until high tide before attempting. I went in at low tide and had to turn around, had 10 cm left on my echo sounder before the keel hit bottom (draft is 110 centimeters).
Went back in at high tide, and then there was 2.6 meters by the dock.

A decent harbour with a large, nice concrete guest pier, but the water on the pier is not suitable for drinking. Good mooring bollards and 4 power outlets. There is no service building, so you should have most of what you need in the boat when you arrive at the harbour; we filled up the water tank before leaving the previous harbour. It is recommended to moor longside on the inside of the pier due to ship traffic and the ferry which generates some waves. There is a nice hiking area in the vicinity (Julneset recreation area) with fine paths, benches, and various bunkers from the last world war. There is good depth along the pier but be aware of a shoal right next to the slipway/stone fill.

Well-sheltered harbor with a breakwater.
Many berths on guest piers, mostly 'alongside'. Berths marked with Green can be used as guest berths (according to signs)

The allocated space for guest boats is small and poor, in addition, it is shallow in the entrance and at the harbor (about 0.8 - 1.2 meters at low tide)
We aborted the attempt and were allowed to borrow a spot at the pier from the local boat dealer.

A nice harbour located a bit away from the center towards the airport.
Good depth with mooring along the concrete pier.
Nice service building containing toilet, shower, washing and drying facilities.
Playground and swimming area.
Short distance to a shop (Rema) towards the center.
Payment via the "Gomarina" app.

One should be aware that fishing occurs from the guest pier (hobby fishermen) from early morning to late evening. The fishermen clutter (leave fish gut and such on the pier) and take up space, which leaves little opportunity to sit on the pier outside the boat. This does not provide the 'boating pleasure' one might expect in this area.

The guest pier is made of concrete and acts as a breakwater against waves from the express boat and other boats that pass by at too high a speed.
The express boat often travels to/from Ålesund and does not take into consideration the boats in the harbor. As a result, one ends up 'rolling' from early morning until late evening. We also experienced that the holders for life buoys placed at the innermost edge of the guest pier collided with the railing when the express boat passed. Gives only 2 stars due to the express boat's lack of consideration; otherwise, the harbor is very nice.
Avoid lying on the outside if possible, moor with 'slack' lines.
Good supply of electricity, water, and crossing cleats.
Nice service building, short distance to shops.
Payment via Vipps.

Lanternen marina (The northern harbor) now has a filling station (TANKEN) for EN590 on the pier.
There is a card machine here.
Be aware that there can sometimes be some current in the water from boats passing through the strait under the Herøy Bridge. Moor and fend well.
