Approach and maritime conditions: Vinnes is located in Fusa with a good breakwater against Bjørnafjorden. Safe and deep approach. The facility is operated by Vinnes Båtlag, and available berths are marked with a green wooden tag.
Docking: The facility consists of three pontoons with berths on each side and can securely accommodate sailboats up to 40 feet and possibly a bit more. The boat club's website informs about boat widths up to 3.75 meters.
Sandy bottom. 12.4 meters deep at the outermost berth. Gradually shallower towards the breakwater and the innermost berths. Limited room for swinging.
Available berths are marked with a green wooden tag.
Website: https://vinnesbaatlag.no
The area: The breakwater ends on an island with a nice beach and hiking opportunities.
There is a somewhat decent outhouse behind the boathouse for the boat club behind the beach. (No sink or water and not for the very picky)
Good electricity and water supply.
The nearest store is 5 km away in Strandvik.
There is a good ball court just across the main road 5 minutes away.
Quiet and nice harbor reminiscent of Southern Norway. Many beautiful gardens with roses and cozy houses in the area.

Approach and maritime conditions: Visited Færøyna in 2019 and the picture is from the harbor on the east side of the island. The place shows signs of attempts at tourism with a bakery and accommodations with harbor fees, etc. In 2019 it was completely dead and no collection. Poorly fendered floating dock. But don't be scared off. Well worth a visit.
Mooring: Floating dock. Bring your own fenders. No harbor fee in 2019.
Not attempted to anchor.
The area: A nice starting point for a hike to the west side and main harbor. In summer, the houses are inhabited, well-kept gardens and many fine scenes and a large pink elephant by the road.
At the main harbor on the west side, there is a slipway and mechanical workshop. Shuttle boat harbor. No store. The locals have an ingenious system for the supply of goods and food.
Well worth a stop.
