Approach and maritime conditions: Klosterhamn is located between Fjøløy, Klosterøy, and Mosterøy, in the outer part of Kvitsøyfjorden. Approach from Kvitsøyfjorden to the south.
Anchorage: Anchor at 2-3 meters depth in the bay between Knutholmen, Knutskjeret, and Kobben. Sandy bottom with very good holding.
The area: Utstein Abbey is nearby, but you need a dinghy to get ashore.
