Drop the anchor at the 10m line. The bay is open to the southeast but experienced little wave action from passing boats. Upon departure, there was no kelp on the anchor. Sandy bottom

There are three buoys inside the breakwater. Two large yellow ones and one larger red one. On the buoys, there is spliced in a floating mooring line of about 6 meters. This was done this year, as there was no growth on the line. After mooring, I reversed the boat with gradually increasing engine speed. The buoy remained stable.
Mini bird cliff, with bustling bird life.

God beskyttelse for nordlig og østlig vind
Ankret på 14m til 17m med 50m kjetting. Sandbunn. Godt feste. Under tangbelte. Ikke tang på ankeret.

Nice to anchor here. Approximately 11 meters depth with likely sandy bottom. No seaweed on the anchor. Fast ferries and local ferries pass by regularly. Since they all dock at the pier, they travel at low speed, and there are no significant waves.
It is believed to be possible to moor on the west side of the pier for the local ferry. Pier length is 15 meters.

Sand bottom. No seaweed on the anchor. 26m deep towards the middle of the bay. Then it becomes 19-14m farther inward. Good swinging room. Approx. 2nm from Saltstraumen

There is a large yellow buoy southeast of Kvaløya. Tested the buoy by reversing. Even at low RPMs, the buoy moved. Either the buoy has a light mooring, the buoy is not in contact with the mooring and is resting on the chain, or the chain is longer than the 20 meters I tested.

Cannot recommend Laksåvika. Narrow and not very pretty. Industrial facilities and quarries.
Recommend going 0.6 nm to Skjelvaløya. Much prettier surroundings. A bit open to wind from due east and due west. Anchored at 16m. Did not get seaweed on the anchor. Possibly sandy bottom. Well protected from waves from passing boats. Narrow passage to the harbor. Well marked on the nautical chart. 4m at low tide. Alternatively, one can enter from the east through Laksåvikbukta. With east winds, it can be nice within Langøyan, on the other side of the shallow, narrow strait.
