Romsa, with its variety of harbors, offers an option for most winds, and they are relatively easy to walk between. In Grindavik, there are good quay facilities and floating docks, both longside and MedMore. There is a barbecue hut, an outhouse, and possibly canoes available for borrowing. The proximity to food, drink, and fuel in Fjelberg is also a plus - well worth a few long, lazy days.

As in Stavanger and Bergen, you are right in the middle of the nightlife, with the joys and sorrows that entails. The quay facilities from Risøy Bridge and southwards were renovated in the spring of '26 and are in good condition, but even now (mid-summer) not all water/power connections are complete. At the expensive end of the harbour fee scale, and when you pay for hot water in the shower, you naturally expect it to come from token 1, not 2.
