Fantastic guest harbor with incredibly nice facilities. Perhaps the finest guest pier we have ever been to.
BUT: The express boat 'Godøy' comes about once an hour and brings large swells all the way into the harbor. This is completely unnecessary and unfortunately must be poor seamanship.
If they - like most other express boat navigators - had eased off the swells before passing through the opening in the breakwater, this would not be a problem. And yes, I actually know what I’m talking about - I am a very experienced express boat captain and an instructor in express boat courses.
As it is now, this beautiful harbor should unfortunately be avoided at all costs.
