Approach and maritime conditions: Notaplassen harbour is located in the center of the charming village of Syvde, surrounded by majestic mountains on every side. It is otherwise sheltered in the middle of Syvde center but can experience some wind from the southwest and west during the winter and autumn season.
Mooring: Mooring at floating docks. The innermost floating dock has two guest spots (marked with signs on the dock), while the outermost dock has several guest spots. The basin itself has a depth of 2.7 m at low tide. The inlet has somewhat lesser depth. Larger boats are recommended to sail in at high tide.
The area: Boat guests have access to toilet and shower facilities in a modern building on the land area in close proximity to the harbour.

Sights near the harbour:

- Notaplassen Library: A mini-library where you can borrow books for free (15 m from the marina).
- Syvde Church: A log-built long church from 1837 (900 m from the marina).
- Syvde Museum - Kristitunet: Viewings only by appointment: phone 995 96 832 (950 m from the marina).
- Syvde center: Shopping opportunities in small boutique shops with clothing, interior decor, and flowers (700 m from the marina).
- Good hiking opportunities (forest walks or mountain hikes) accessible from the harbour.
