Entry and maritime conditions: There are 2 entrances to the harbor, from the S and W, both marked. Guest spots, about 10, can be found to starboard just behind the outer pier, deepest inside. The harbor serves smaller fishing vessels.
Berthing: The outer pier is a fixed quay and mooring with an anchor. Docking alongside the crane innermost in the harbor is prohibited.
The area: There is an exceptionally fine fish shop in the harbor selling all kinds of fish and shellfish, raw and prepared. There is also a restaurant in the harbor that is famous for its fine fish dishes and the world's best fish soup.
There are bikes available for borrowing, and shopping can be done at the EXTRA store in Manstad, 15 minutes from the harbor by bike.
