Our private marina is a safe harbour for sailors wanting to rest aftere a long passage, visit the island worry-free or leave their boat for a couple of months while going home.
We take reservations in advance. The moorings are not free to grab, please send us an email at mooreamarina@gmail.com
Our mooring system can be tricky, for very short stays (up to one week) we have mooring buoys with access to the faclities.
We have a monhull pontoon and a catamaran area.
Both are attached by buoys at the bow.
Monohull are attached to the floating pontoon for shorts stays, if you leave the boat for a long period, we will attach it on ecological lines at the bottoms.
Catamarans (or any boats if the pontoon is full) are attached with two lines on ecological anchor at the back. We double them in case of bad weather or if you leave your boat longer. There is no access to a pontoon, you have to use your dinghy or our floating blocks if available. You need to have a long electricity cable.
We take the security of our boats very seriously.
We have an external boat watching service while you are away (vaikeep.com)
At the marina, you have a few tours boat departing for activities (snorkeling, diving, whale wathching, parasailing,...) for bookings contact them directly.
You will also find a shipchandler (marine supplies) a restaurant (tama hau) and we hope to have more services and shops in the future like a sewer/sail repair.
The marina is open to visitors of those establishements but we have to restricts access to other people as we prioritize the security of our clients and have little space for dinghys.

* Facilities includes access to the marina via badge, hot shower, toilets, parking, dinghy dock, washing machine and dryer, fresh water (gallons or for boat tanks) electricity and non drinkable water for those at the pontoon.
The marina is open from 8am to 5 pm monday to saturday.
Please don't anchor close to the marina boats, and mind the river flow as the holding is not good there.
