The entrance to this protected all-tide natural harbour is winding between port and stbd hand poles - clearly marked, but take care not to miss one out! Once in the river proceed ENE toward the landing slip area by church, on S bank. In season there is an isolated pontoon anchored in the river for visitors - harbourmaster will run you ashore but check the hours - you may need your dinghy. There is very limited mooring to pontoons with shore access. Good anchoring - firm mud. Very pretty village with good walks, cafes and restaurants. Strong wind over tide in the river can produce rough water.
