Anchored in the middle of the bay, simple entrance, good protection against wind, approximately 20 m depth.

Anchored outside the harbor in light winds. Was concerned about the tidal currents, but it went perfectly fine. Stayed safe and secure. The approach to Norderney is a bit tricky with a boat that has a draft of 2.35 m and should be done at high tide.

Lovely anchorage on a sandy bottom. We anchored at about 7 m depth at low tide. There was an 8 m tidal difference. About 5 m/s from the northeast. A bit of swell but perfectly manageable. Some entertainment from passing RIBs with tubing. Slept well!

Easy approach. The guest pier can be used on both sides during weekends. Friendly harbor master. Borkum is a pleasant town with many nice beach restaurants and beautiful sandy beaches.
