Poorly protected. With westerly winds, it is much better to anchor by the beach on the east side of Lindholmen. Here at Tjuvholmen, the wind blows straight over the land. However, if it is calm, you will feel like you are anchored in a painting.

The harbour is only accessible at high tide and only with a max. 2.3 m draft. The entrance buoys change regularly as the estuary’s depth and mudbanks shift. follow them and not your navigation system. The wind park outside is forbidden passage (as of June 2025). The village itself is magnificent.

We anchored north of the bay.
On the chart it says 'rock', but our anchor found a sandy bottom.
Very nice rocky beach right below steep sand cliffs. The place is very good for snorkeling, free diving, and stone skipping.
The first 10 meters out to sea are pebbles and some seaweed, but if you swim further and deeper, you will only find white sand.
