This is a beautiful place to be, surrounded by empty islands, and usually joined by just a few boats. Anchoring can be quite challenging as the setting tide creates a strong current and the rising tide a lighter one. This can create some chaos in the harbor with some boats affected by the wind and others affected by the tide. Despite the challenge I will keep returning. There are bars between the islands which reduce the chop from the west.
