Beautiful natural harbor near Ånderdalen National Park. The anchoring sign is located in the north of Tranøybotn itself. We chose to stay in the south, near the campsite, but within the islets. These provide shelter from the sea into the fjord. In the south, the seabed slopes a bit more steeply than in the north, but we had a good hold in the muddy bottom at about 10 meters. The campsite is called Norwegian Wild and has several facilities, including a café. There is also easy access to the national park.
