Approach and maritime conditions: The harbour is accessed from the west. Easy approach as long as you follow the leading marks.
Docking: Alongside the pier.
The area: The quay is located next to the Lobster Museum, which is open during the summer. Restaurant Grøningen opens its doors on July 15, 2021, and it is a short distance to Grøningsstraen with a shelter and a beach. Kvitsøy has several hiking trails.

Approach and maritime conditions: Gamlekaien is located in the middle of Ydstebøhavn. The approach is well marked with guiding markers. It is worth noting that there are two rocks protruding by the wooden pier.
Mooring: Gamlekaien is Kvitsøy's guest harbor, along with the pier at Grøningen. It is more expensive to moor at Gamlekaien than at Grøningen. At Gamlekaien, you moor alongside, and when it is full, you have to moor on the outside. There is coin operation for the shower, while the washing machine and toilet are free. Short distance to store, and recreational area/beach.
The Area: The pier is located right below Kvitsøy lighthouse and the Coastal Administration's Traffic Station. The hiking trail starts at the lighthouse.
