Updated information as of summer 2026:

The floating pier located at the very end of the bay is no longer in use and is considered a wreck. Mooring options are now by the boathouse or at the outer end of the floating pier on the southwest side (just before the boathouse). Be careful not to obstruct the ferry.
There is no information about payment or similar. We spoke with locals, and they also did not know anything about payment. We therefore stayed for free.

Approach and maritime conditions: Clean and clear approach. The northwest wind can be strong in the harbor. A little south of the approach, there is a high-voltage line with a stated height of 20 meters.
Docking: You can moor at the guest pier located approximately in the middle of the bay or at the cafe/boathouse on the southwestern edge of the bay. Parts of the quay are reserved for the scheduled boat.
The area: A nice place with a few permanent residents. Most houses are used as cabins. You can moor at the guest pier which is located roughly in the middle, at the innermost part of the bay. Here, only cash payment is accepted, so bring cash. The price is NOK 100 per night including electricity. You can also moor at the pier by the cafe. There is also a playground on the island, and if you walk a little towards the southwest, there is a climbing course with a zip line in the forest. Look for signs pointing to the "Monkey Forest". The climbing course is private, but the owners welcome guests. The course is not made according to current regulations, and all play is at your own risk.
