Where there is heartroom, there is houseroom. Small nice quay with a beach beside it. Good depth, and a short distance to the shop.
Can certainly be rough at times. Power on the quay.
Fantastic view over the fjord.
Almost managed to berth a 56-footer on the inside.

Mooring to good wooden quay 'Prestekaien'. Good bollards and ladders on the quay front. The inside of the quay is mostly sheltered but reserved for embarkation/disembarkation. Nice beach nearby. Timber frame shelter with tables, benches, and grill on land. Plenty of space on the quay. Short distance to Bruvik Convenience Store (7-24). Playground for children on the way to the store.
Good depths also for sailboats.
From Bruvik, it is possible to walk 822 meters up to Brøknipa/Bruviknipa. Follow the road about 4 km up behind Bruvik, at the pass turn left at a large parking area and follow a good path to the top where there is a great panoramic view of Sørfjorden.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 1 hour and 21 minutes ago (Monday 16 June 12:29 PM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
The safe directions for this harbour was added at 9. Nov 2024. Click here to edit.
Bruvik - Osterøy is surrounded by high hills or mountains. When strong winds come from the mountainous side there is a risk of turbulent or katabatic winds (also called "fall winds"), which may be rather unpleasant. In such conditions, you should not rely on the wind protection score for the coming night. Click to edit.
The visits are retrieved from AIS data. You can click to see all visiting ships to Bruvik - Osterøy, as well as statistics about the ships that visits
