This is the home harbour for Contest yachts, but everyone is welcome. MYS, which is the workshop for Contest and other brands, is also located here. Approach; the large windmill at the approach makes it easy to see from afar. Personally, I found the approach to be a bit poorly marked, so I am including a couple of photos to make it easier.
To enter the harbour, you have to go under a bridge and through a lock. From April 1 to October 15, it is staffed from 0800 to 1930.
The harbour is naturally well protected.
A short walk to the center of Medemblik with many restaurants and shops.
