description
Entrance and maritime conditions: Just north of Furuholmen, approximately in the middle of Sandefjordsfjorden, lies Garnholmen. A rare spot where you don't see boats often. Here, one moors alongside. A fair-weather spot, but relatively well-protected from northern and eastern winds. Very shallow entrance, so navigate carefully. Enter with larger boats from the southeast. It's an islet where you have the sun until it sets into the sea almost. And if you get here first, you'll likely have the whole island to yourself. Rarely are there people here. A nice little islet with swimming opportunities for big kids and adults. With clear water, it looks delightful to snorkel here.
Anchoring: Alongside the rock. Fender well. Bolts in the rock. It can be a bit difficult to get ashore. Depends somewhat on what type of boat you have.
Note! Fair-weather spot
The area: Quiet and beautiful little island. Here you can enjoy lazy summer days and evenings until darkness falls, and then wake up to sunshine and new delightful summer days.
