Gullholmen er en av de aller fineste perlene på Bohuslän kysten. Gullholmen er en liten øy tettpakket av små, gamle hus. Det går en liten bro over et smalt sund til den større Hermanö. Her ligger gjestehavnen. Det finnes ingen biler her og stedet er en rolig idyll. Det er smale stier mellom de velholdte husene og brygger rundt hele holmen som barna bader fra. Barna som ferierer her, må få en unik opplevelse som de vil huske som sin barndoms beste.

I havnen ligger en is-kiosk som selger is med egenbakt kjeks. Her dufter det nybakt kjeks lang vei og det er alltid lang kø selv om det er to andre steder rett ved hvor man får kjøpt is. Det ligger en restaurant i havnen på en holme over flytebrygga.

Havnen er godt beskyttet for alle vinder, spesielt vestlige. Gjestehavnen er delt i to med hvert sitt innløp – det ene fra øst og det andre fra syd. Det er en populær havn, så vær tidlig ute. Det er strøm og vann på brygga. I havnen er det også dagligvarebutikk, toalett og dusj.

Ca. en kilometer lenger syd på Hermanø er det badeplass, minigolf og restaurant. Rett vest for havnen er det også en fin badeplass, men den er mer utsatt for sydvesten.
