The community is working on cladding the outermost steel floating pier in wood to prevent damage. For now, this means there are few places to secure the ropes.

Above Hamnavika lies Utvorda fort, which the Germans built after the war with several bunkers and gun positions. In some, the guns are even still in place. A great trip if you can avoid the gnats.
