Grei innseiling, men grunne på 1,5m i åpning av vika (merket i sjøkart). God le for de fleste vindretningen. Gammel trekai hvor man gjerne ikke får lagt hele båten om man er +/- 30 fot grunnet liten dybde. Var selv ikke så bekymret da det virker til å være mudderbunn.

OPPDATERING: Per 24.08.2025 er det ikke kaianlegg tilgjengelig lenger. Trevirke er fjernet, bare reisverk i stål igjen. Kan se ut som utbedringsarbeid som er satt i gang.

Entrance and maritime conditions: Hisøya is a green oasis in the archipelago between Bømlo and Fitjar, just outside Rolvsnes. Natural harbor.
Anchoring: Dock, a bit shallow at low tide - 1.5 to 2m maybe. Space for a couple of boats.
The area: Take a walk around Hisøyvatnet, check out the 30 m high Sitka spruce
