Havneområdet i Høllen består av en kommunal kai, en småbåthavn, og privateide brygger.
Hva som er hva er ikke nødvendigvis lett å forstå. Her er en forklaring:

Når man kommer inn mot havna har man Høllen småbåthavn til styrbord (øst). Det er ingen gjesteplasser i selve båthavna, men tillatt for gjester ytterst på hovedkaia. Resten av denne siden av kaien er reservert fiskere og fastboende på øyene.
Holder man babord kommer man inn i det vestre havneområdet. Her er en del av kaien (grønn sone) forbeholdt gjester, det har i august 2022 blitt innført maksimum to timers liggetid. Innenfor gjesteplassene er det reservert for rutebåt, brannbåt og andre nyttefartøy.
Deretter følger noen meter forbeholdt drivstoffylling. Herfra og innover blir det trangt for større båter.
På innsiden av dette er der en del meter kai, og i sommersesongen en flytebrygge, som er beregnet på Joker-butikkens kunder. Her kan man ligge over natten (20-12) mot avgift etter avtale med butikken. Bryggene helt innerst er private.

Høllen kan være et fint stopp for bunkring og et restaurantbesøk. Restauranten har sommeråpent, og i ferien arrangeres konserter, karaoke ol. Joker-butikken på brygga har åpent til kl. 20, det finnes en Bunnpris butikk noen hundre meter lengre nord som har åpent til kl. 21. Ta gjerne Høllegada med fine små sørlandshus om du skal opp til Bunnpris.

Annet: Søppelsorteringsanlegg på brygga er for hytter/fastboende på øyene og er låst, med unntak av glass/metall. Det er søppeldunker ved det røde servicebygget SØ mot stranden. Her er også toaletter.

For overnatting eller lengre opphold er nok Åros feriesenter litt øst for Høllen et bedre valg.
