Approach and maritime conditions: Clear approach from both sides of the strait.

Good room for swinging in the middle of the strait at just over 10m depth with favorable wind direction.

Pier on the north side of the strait on the Hvaløya side where sailboats will find adequate depth at the outermost spots. Watch out for the 1.5-meter shallow just north of the pier when departing.

Anchoring: Anchoring depth 10m
