Bukta innenfor Kalvön er en fantastisk ankringsplass. Det er en av de første stedene du kommer til etter å passert Kosterfjorden sørover. Det kan være ganske ruskete ute på Kosterfjorden, men så snart du kommer deg innaskjærs roer vinden og sjøen seg dramatisk. I denne havna ligger du godt beskyttet i alle vindretninger. Øyene rundt varierer i høyde og noe vind kan komme inn, men alle bølger stenges ute. Det er relativ grunt vann og enkelt å ankre her. Området er stort, så det er plass til mange båter som svinger rundt.

En tur inn på Kalvön anbefales varmt. Øyene har spredt bebyggelse og er svært godt holdt.
