Lysekil Marina is a great guest harbor with large capacity and a great variety of mooring methods ranging from alongside, box, and stern buoys. Depending on the size of the boat, you can reserve a spot in advance through the municipality's website. During peak season, you can call the harbor master who will assist you in finding a spot and getting settled. Very good service.

Beautiful facilities on land and a lovely area around the pier. Personally, I don't find Lysekil center very exciting. But there is a Systembolag and an okay Coop store to stock up the fridge and freezer. There is a boat store along the harbor promenade for those who need something for the boat, but the prices are not perceived as particularly low. For those interested in diving, the Nordic region's largest dive center is located in the harbor, Dive Team Lysekil. They have good guides and lots of equipment for purchase and rental. There are also diving spots right outside the harbor, providing great opportunities.

When approaching the harbor, the southern harbor basin has a specified depth of only 2.2 meters at the entrance. This is due to crossing chains between the floating docks that form the entrance to the harbor basin. Fortunately, these chains were rearranged in 2024, so the entrance depth is better than indicated for larger boats. We have a draft of 2.6 meters and entered without problems.

There are three guest harbors in Lysekil. The most important one is located furthest south. There is a large marina where two sections serve as guest harbors. One section is occasionally reserved for sailing events. There are ice stands and a restaurant in the harbor area. A little further in, there is a guest harbor in the fishing harbor.
