Flere vi har møtt skryter av fiskekakene hos «Myken seng og suppe», både til lunch og middag. Kan være et vesentlig billigere og kanskje vel så bra alternativ, til restauranten «Fiskebruket».

Vi ligger trygt på innsiden av flytebrygga når det nå blåser 12 m/s fra syd. De på utsiden nøkker mye.
Whiskeydestilleriet var topp, utsikt og øya også. Restauranten var stengt, dessverre.
Vi badet morgenbad i dag i 14 gr . Deilig det, men så fikk vi øye på røret som kommer ned til vannet fra husene over veien… det det siger ut bleier, avfall og gørr… rett ned i Gjestehavnen. Dette bør de som har ansvar her gjøre noe med, for det er veldig ugreit!

Innseiling og maritime forhold: Myken er en av de ytterste øyene mellom Bodø og Sandessjøen og ca 15 nautiske mil fra velkjente Træna. En perle med 12 fastboende og eget whisky destilleri som alene er verdt besøket. Innseiling både fra nord og sør. Brygga har longside parkering på begge sider av brygga. Vanndybden på utsiden er god, men bør sjekkes på innsiden hvis du kommer med seilbåt. Plass til 5-6 båter. Vær hardt område der det kan være vanskelig og legge til på den korte longside parkeringen ved vind fra nord. Vann og strøm på brygga. Fortøyning i solide pullerter.

Området: Sjarmerende nærbutikk og whiskydistilleri
