A pleasant harbor as a starting or ending point for a voyage through the German Bight. There are floating pontoons. The harbor master is very involved with her guests and very friendly. Due to the many vessel movements, the harbor is often restless, not because of the waves, but because of the noise.
The center of Delfzijl is located right next to the harbor.
