Approach and maritime conditions: The harbor is located on the west side of Østre Bolærne. Easy approach. A route boat calls at the harbor.
Berthing: Several floating docks with both alongside berths and mooring arms.
The Area: Østre Bolæren invites you for holiday and leisure stays, as well as courses and conferences. You can come and explore the island on your own, as part of a group, or as part of an organized event.

Østre Bolæren offers a range of opportunities such as accommodation, good culinary experiences, and activities. Coastal and cultural life is combined with an exciting defense history that still has visible traces. Among other things, you will find cannon exhibitions and the signal station strategically placed at the top of the island, offering fantastic views over the Oslofjord and Skagerrak.
