Innseiling og maritime forhold: Grei innseiling
Fortøying: Longside/uterigger ved flytebrygger eller longside event med dregg mot kai. Ca 5-10 meter dybde.

Hurtigbåt Bergen- Sogn stopper/passerer. Denne gir endel sjø, men man ligger fortøyed bak tunge betongbrygger som demper dette noe. Utsatt for vind fra nord, men fortøyer man innerst ved landhandelen er det likevel le.
Området: Hyggelig gjestehavn med spisested/pub.

Stauten av Kong Olav er plassert her. Det er også amfi for konserter/festival. Informasjonsenter om oppdrett av laks og ett lite museum.

Flott, ærverdig handelsted som er verdt ett eller flere besøk. Utkant festival arrangeres i juli.

Man kan gå tur på veien innover.
