Innseiling og maritime forhold: Friområde i stor bukt/poll som er godt skjermet for de fleste vinder. Faste bolter i fjell flere steder. Enkel innseiling fra Hjeltefjorden, i smalt sund mot øst frarådes båter med innenbordsmotor å gå igjennom ettersom dette er svært grunt. Seilbåter kan gå helt inn i bukten. Det er også en bøye fra BOF i vågen.
Ankring: Fortøyning med dregg mot land, longside noen steder eller svai/svaibøye. En kort og høy betongkai på sørøst siden av øyen (øst for bukten). God hold for dregg.
Området: Flott skjermet naturhavn som er populær og mye brukt. Stupebrett og en liten grusstrand. Flott område oppmot fjellveggen innerst i bukten. Mulig å gå tur på øyen, men det er varierende med hvor gode stier det er.
