Flott naturhavn. Lett innseiling fra leden i Nyhammersundet.

Fortøyning på svai eller med dregg mot land. Det er ikke bolter i fjellet så egne må medbringes. Det er flere steder å fortøye, i en vik er det også en flytebrygge som det er mulig å fortøye på. Denne er privat og tilhører en gård på andre siden av øyen.

Noe vegetasjon av lyng og furu kan gi mygg. Kort tur til Eivindvik hvor det er mulig å proviantere, vann, bensin/diesel etc. I Eivindvik er også Tusenårs-plassen/Gulating. Ett av de eldste tingstedene i landet.
