For those who don't have VIPPS Stø is slightly difficult.
Payment at the community pontoon is straightforward as PayPal is also used but there is little/no space and BE AWARE of the pontoons mooring chains which protrude out from the end of the community pontoon.
Payment on any other pontoon requires alternative arrangements, perhaps asking a Norwegian to pay for you and providing them with cash?
That said; the harbour offers protection and the other pontoons have electricity but no water.
The locals are very helpful and the shower & laundry facilities clean & tidy.
The kafe also has great cakes.

A good deal of islets and reefs at the approach. Well marked, but stay focused, especially in rough seas. Plenty of space in the harbor. Many floating docks but most are for fishing boats. We were assigned a spot by the breakwater. Well protected harbor. The harbor guide gave a 6/10 for wind protection when we were there, but it feels very safe in the harbor.
On the dock we were on, we had to contact Øksnes Harbor Authority. Tel: 951 53 872 Very good service from the Harbor Authority.

Stø is a safe fishing harbour with guest berths on several floating docks. They are primarily intended for the fishing fleet that operates here during the winter season but can also be used by leisure boats, as there is often plenty of space during the summer. No facilities except for electricity on the docks. Price in 2023: NOK 60 per boat/night including electricity.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 2 hours and 26 minutes ago (Saturday 04 July 04:30 AM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
