In July 2024, there is no diesel refueling in Thyborøn. We will try further south in Lemvig.

The city and area have been upgraded a lot recent years.
Well worth to visit for a few days. Long sandy beaches.

Taranger says:
description
Approach and maritime conditions: Dredged channel. Follow sea markings. There may be a strong current at the harbor entrance.
Docking: The guest harbor is at the very innermost point. Keep starboard when entering the harbor and follow the maze all the way in. Moor alongside the inside of the breakwater, or at stern buoys towards the pier.
The area: A fishing and industrial harbor. Not a particularly cozy guest harbor. The town of Thyboron doesn't offer much either. But this is a good place to stop as the first or last place before crossing the North Sea. For a day or two, there are also things to do for the whole family. The Jutland Aquarium impressed. Very child-friendly. In addition, they have the Sea War Museum, an ice sculpture exhibition, and some exceptionally beautiful beaches. So if you do stop here, it's well worth setting aside a day or two.
