description
Great place. Nice sandy bottom and colorful underwater fauna. It is good for snorkeling or diving here. In the cove, there is good depth all the way in and no hidden shoals. Here you can lie across the cove with moorings to bolts on each side, or alongside. There are protruding rock shelves on both sides, which makes alongside mooring difficult for sailboats. However, it is a safe spot which I have marked on the chart. If you have a draft of no more than 2m, you can lie alongside with the bow pointing inwards.
We were here in a moderate gale and chose secure mooring across the cove. Cross-cove mooring takes up a lot of space and can annoy the motorboat crowd. (We got an adult scolding here last year) This year, however, we are outside the peak season and there are very few boats here.
It is also possible to lie with stern anchors and bow towards land on the west side outside the cove, as well as an alongside option (also for sailboats). I will mark it all on the picture.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 1 hour and 20 minutes ago (Monday 10 August 02:31 PM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
