Nice little islet, where it is possible for motorboats to dock. There is a small channel leading towards the islet. Have someone on the bow for lookout. There are bolts in the rock. There is space for 2 boats side by side. Depth ranges from about 1.7 m to 2 m in the channel in, towards the islet it is slightly shallower. There may be waves from traffic in the strait.

Alongside Kjølhalskjær, one can lie alongside. There is good depth in the sound. It is best to lie alongside on the south side of Kjølhalskjær. It is a bit steeper further north on the skerry. At Langeskjæra, one lies with an anchor out and the bow towards land or alongside. It can be difficult to come ashore when lying alongside Langeskjæra.

Here one can lie alongside or with the anchor at the stern and the bow towards the land. With the dinghy, one can make a quick trip to Havstensund.

Lies nicely against the rock. The depth is 2 meters plus. There are several bolts in the strait. Notice the traffic in Vrengensundet.

Nice place to lie alongside. Depth in to the rock is 2.3 meters. There are bolts in the rock to moor to. Can be some traffic passing by, but not bothersome, most take caution. Best to lie here in SW and W winds. There can be some swell with southern winds.
