Very protected area. It is possible to moor to shore in different places, but watch out for rocks and high ground.
Because of the marina it is not the wildest experience and the island is very small so one will hike around very quickly, but it is still a very quiet and peaceful place to stay at.
The water is relatively warm and provide for a pleasant swimming experience.
As of 12 August 2026 the toilets are screwed shut...
MyrHolmen could stand for "Myror island" because the ground literally crawls with ants all over the place. :-)

This place seems to be largely abandoned but for now the pier is still serviceable. There are toilets so I assume someone comes at some point to empty the buckets! :-)
The whole island is pretty wild, there is basically no trails to follow. As Elin Fokine pointed out there is unfortunately quite a bit of garbage lying around (including some rusted appliances!), especially on the north side it seemed.
The place was still very enjoyable and provided a perfect shelter on a westerly windy night.
