Bolts in the rock are difficult to find. The steep and dense terrain makes it unsuitable for landing. Good protection from southern winds.

Popular outing spot in good weather. Easy to come ashore and space for tents and grilling. Swimming beach. Sandy bottom with good holding ground. Very sheltered but in southerly winds, it is best to lie in the lee on the east side of the bay.

The bay between Visterøyna and Buarøyna. Beware of shallow areas at the entrance to the bay. Previously, there were several bolts in the rock on the west side, but most of them have now been removed. It is possible to insert your own bolts. You can also anchor in the middle of the bay. It is shallow towards the shore on the south and east sides of the bay. Bench and dining area on land. A nice area to explore in the old abandoned fort.
