Approaching from the south is easy, but plan according to ferry traffic. The arrivals are frequent and the entrance is close to the ferry. There can be powerful eddies from the ferries when they are docked. Mooring along the pier. The channel is quite narrow, with some boat traffic. We measured the depth to about 2.8m near the pier. Our boat drafts 2.25m.
A large part of the quay closest to the bridge is blocked off with fences. It seems the wood in the pier in this area is in poor condition and not safe to moor to.
It's a short distance to great hiking areas on Jeløy. Alby café and gallery is recommended.

Lies alongside the inner pier. No power or water on any of the piers. The facility seems to be out of service. Found no information. No toilets or sanitary facilities. Paid a high port fee for a facility that is not in operation.
