There is a large shallow on the starboard and port side if you sail in from Lyngenfjord. Follow nautical charts and cardinal marks and it will be fine. There is often a northwesterly wind in the afternoon but it calms down in the evening. Otherwise, it is a nice and sheltered harbor where you lie safely.

New floating dock from July 9, 2025
Havnnes has now received a new and larger floating dock with increased capacity and better mooring conditions. The guest quay is only accessible on the outside of the dock, in the area that does not have berths for small boats. This area is also used for private commercial activities, and capacity may therefore be limited - especially in winter.
We ask all visiting boats to contact us in advance to clarify availability and arrange for a safe and coordinated arrival.
Facilities and terms:
- Power: Only maintenance power is available.
- Mooring: There are good opportunities for secure mooring with bollards.
- Waste: We only accept waste that is sorted according to local regulations. See https://www.avfallsservice.no/hvordan-sorterer-jeg
- Price: We charge for the use of the guest quay. There are separate rates for summer and winter. Winter prices (October 1 - May 1) are normally higher due to limited capacity and use of the quay for commercial activities. - Capacity: We have a maximum space for three sailboats at the floating dock. Others must use the main quay. All arrivals must be clarified in advance.
- Private property: Havnnes is a private harbor in private ownership. The guest quay is made available as an offer to visiting boats, but this is done at our discretion and within the framework of our other activities. We ask that everyone using the facilities show consideration and respect that this is an area with active commercial operations and limited resources.
