At the far end of the archipelago, 30 minutes southeast of Umeå, south of Täfteå, in Rovögerns fishing harbor, Kvarkenfisk operates and has developed very positively since its start in 2011. In this part of Kvarken's coastal strip, there is no similar place, with 35 boathouses, a harbor for about 40 boats, an award-winning surströmming factory, boat launch ramp, helicopter pad, a popular excursion destination, and conference facilities in a uniquely stimulating and calming marine environment.
Kvarkenfisk has its own guest harbor near Umeå for those who wish to travel by sea. The harbor can accommodate many sailing and motor boats. Boats with a draft of 1.7 meters or more should dock at the quay directly east of the entrance at the first pier. Other boats can dock at the pier by the restaurant.
The restaurant is open in the summer for coffee, lunch, and dinner made from exquisite ingredients prepared by skilled chefs.
