Idyllic, calm bay with good anchoring. Several curious seals inhabit the area and bask on land in the seaweed at low tide.

Fair but somewhat narrow entrance. The bay has a greater depth than shown on the chart. Especially the inner part which showed 4-5 meters at low tide when we were here. Shows 0.4 on my marine charts (not Antares)

Good holding in a calm, spacious bay. Nice for a walk on Bressay. About a 1-hour walk to the other side of the island where the ferry goes into Lerwick town center.

Two guest buoys that appear to be well-maintained. 7-8 meters depth.
Not many attractions in the area but there is a small pub at the hotel.

24/7 manned harbor. Called up the harbor watch on channel 12 before arrival and was assigned a spot and greeted at the floating dock. Very friendly and helpful. Guest boats are directed to the dock east of the marina.
Restaurants in the vicinity and a short walking distance to a beautiful sandy beach
Great hiking opportunities either to Thurso town or out to the lighthouse on the north side
